Joe Bingham

When someone runs ten minutes over their very first set and somehow charms their way out of it, you know they're destined for the stage. Joe Bingham brings Birmingham grit and London polish to every performance, turning everyday observations into wry, self-deprecating stories that land with precision. Originally from Birmingham, he made his stand-up debut in 2019 at the Patrick Kavanagh in Moseley and moved to London to pursue comedy full-time—within an astonishing 14 months, he'd catapulted from pub back rooms to national television. A BBC New Comedy Award semi-finalist in 2023 and a nominee for the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award, Joe's rapid rise saw him opening tours for BGT winner Axel Blake, Aurie Styla, and Jamali Maddix. His material mines comedic gold from his Birmingham roots (complete with accent-based mockery), being raised by a single mother, and the absurdities of modern life—from playlist selection strategies to using The Sims as an existential metaphor. Regular audiences at Comedy Freaks, Up The Creek, and Vauxhall Comedy Club know him for his charming delivery and cutting-edge material that somehow makes the straightforward feel fresh. A favourite on the Comedy Boat since 2024, Joe's sharp wit and infectious energy make every show feel like a masterclass in relatable chaos.
