Jordan MacDonald

Picture a Texas cowboy who traded tumbleweeds for tube strikes and decided London needed a taste of high-energy, farm-bred hilarity. This Austin-raised comic brings observational fire that strikes the perfect balance between razor-sharp wit and delightfully silly storytelling—whether he's unpacking the absurdities of multiracial family dynamics on a Texas ranch, skewering cultural quirks he's discovered touring across five continents, or simply slinking across the stage firing off quick witticisms with that unmistakable cowboy cool. Jordan's racked up serious credentials, from winning Best Comedy Short Film at Austin Sketchfest 2024 to performing an eye-watering 64 showcases at Edinburgh Fringe, plus screen time on Netflix's Magic for Humans and the big-screen sci-fi epic Alita: Battle Angel. He's charmed audiences at Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store LA, and London favourites like Top Secret Comedy Club and Backyard Comedy Club, not to mention international stops from Boom Chicago in Amsterdam to Cosmic Comedy Club in Berlin. Known as "The Black Cowboy Comedian," he also co-hosts the wildly entertaining podcast 2NAP straight from Austin's comedy scene. A beloved fixture at Rum Monkey since making his debut on the Comedy Boat, Jordan's become known for his relaxed-but-electric stage presence and the kind of jokes that land with a grin and linger long after last orders.
