Marc Salmon
Picture a Buddhist with a guitar, a mischievous grin, and the kind of chaotic energy that makes rooms lean in. That's Marc Salmon – a London-based comedian who interweaves indie folk tunes with sharp, offbeat observations about life, class, and the beautifully messy business of trying to be a decent person. Equal parts philosopher and troublemaker, he's been called "naturally funny" by Mark Simmons and "very f***ing funny" by Mike OT of The Free Association Improv, while Latest 7 Magazine dubbed him "confidently shambolic" – which, let's be honest, is the ideal vibe for a comedian who describes himself as a "practicing Buddhist (and I need A LOT of practice)."
Originally from Kent but thankfully escaped to London, Marc's high-energy stand-up blends wry wit with surreal tangents, all delivered with a warmth that feels like a mate who's genuinely delighted to be there. He's a West End New (Old) Act of the Year 2024 finalist, took his show *Salmon and Friends* to Edinburgh Fringe, and hosts *The Bardo Podcast*, exploring creativity, philosophy, and inner change. A favourite on the Comedy Boat since bringing his unique brand of chaos to our shores, Marc also facilitates trauma-informed workshops when he's not making audiences laugh themselves silly.
