Sally Firth

Picture a sweet-faced sixty-something who shuffles onstage with all the confidence of someone asking where the loo is—then proceeds to obliterate every assumption you had about nice middle-aged ladies. Sally Firth is the deliciously twisted creation of comedian Sian Doughty, a character who allegedly stepped in when her son couldn't make his gig and has been terrorising audiences with his notebook ever since.

Since bursting onto the London comedy scene in 2013, Sally has racked up an enviable list of conquests: she won King Gong at the legendary Comedy Store in 2017, beat the notoriously tough Blackout at Up the Creek (twice!), and made it to the finals of Beat the Frog World Series in 2019. Funny Women named her One To Watch in both 2016 and 2017, and she's graced stages from Edinburgh Fringe to Brighton Fringe, plus countless London venues.

Her comedy is a masterclass in contrasts—that uncertain deadpan delivery masking some seriously dark material about her husband Roger, cage fighting, and things your actual mum definitely shouldn't discuss in public. A favourite on the Comedy Boat since 2024, Sally has been delighting younger audiences at Battersea Barge with her unique blend of naïveté and filth. She's proof that the most dangerous comedians are often the ones who look like they're lost.
