Sam Coade
Picture a comedian so tall he might need planning permission, armed with the kind of offbeat gags that stick in your brain like catchy jazz riffs—which makes sense, because this award-winning comic also tickles the ivories in his jazz outfit Moody But Nice. Sam Coade has been delighting audiences at The Rum Monkey Comedy Club's legendary Comedy Boat since 2024, bringing his uniquely whimsical brand of stand-up to Battersea Barge with material the Evening Standard called "Fantastic."
With over 10 million views online and a resume that includes writing for BBC Radio 4's DMs Are Open and BBC Scotland's Breaking The News, Sam's sharp, original comedy has earned him runner-up at West End New Act of the Year and semi-final spots at So You Think You're Funny?, Komedia New Act, and Leicester Square New Comedian. He's been shortlisted for the prestigious Pleasance Reserve and reached the final of Hastings Fringe New Comedian, all while co-running the award-winning Camden gig Comedy In Your Eye.
Whether he's pondering why eggs get arrested or delivering what critics call "witty and unusual" observations, Sam's warm stage presence and gift for the absurd make him one of the brightest new voices on the circuit.
