Sean Gorman

Deadpan, downbeat, and utterly irresistible—Sean Gorman's self-deprecating wit has audiences hanging on every word, even when he's dissecting life's most basic questions with the precision of a rugby fan who's seen too many disappointments. Originally from Salisbury and now navigating the chaos of London, this rising star has rapidly climbed the ranks since starting stand-up, reaching the finals of the Reading Fringe New Act, Piccadilly Comedy Club New Act, and South Coast Comedian of The Year competitions within his first couple of years. In 2024, he earned his spot in the prestigious Best in Class showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe, where he won the panel prize at the Edinburgh-ISH Comedy Awards and collected multiple 4-star reviews from The Scotsman and other publications. A BBC New Comedian Awards 2022 finalist, Sean's assured stage presence and sharp writing have made him a favourite on the Comedy Boat since 2024, performing regularly at iconic venues including The Comedy Store, Backyard Comedy Club, and across the UK and Europe. When he's not on stage, he co-hosts the Funny Laundering Podcast, proving his comedy chops extend beyond the microphone.
