Victor Daniel

Picture this: a law graduate who stood outside The Comedy Store until they let him in, then never left the circuit. That's the kind of persistence that's made Victor Daniel one of London's most talked-about comics for over two decades. Since his accidental debut on The Richard Blackwood Show in 1999—where he improvised his entire set—this Stratford-based Nigerian comedian has been delivering non-stop, hard-hitting comedy that's earned him the nickname "the UK's answer to Dave Chappelle."

Victor's pen is as sharp as his stage presence. He's written for BBC Three's Gina Yashere Show and Angie Le Mar's Big Sister, while creating, writing, and directing The United Colours of Comedy for Hackney Empire—developed by the BBC New Comedy Unit. His stand-up has graced The Comedy Store, Top Secret, and sold-out runs at Theatre Royal Stratford East, plus a memorable night on the Rum Monkey Comedy Boat where his fearless crowd work had the whole barge rocking. He's been a semi-finalist for BBC Comedy New Talent and Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny.

During lockdown, he pivoted brilliantly, releasing daily comedy videos that exploded his profile. Now he's touring with Axel Blake's In Style show, bringing relentless energy and razor-sharp observations to stages across the UK. Whether dissecting everyday absurdities or cultural commentary, Victor guarantees a night you won't forget.
